Boyface

The Boyface books are four, timeless chapter books that are perfect for developing readers (roughly 8-10 year olds). They are slightly (actually very) zany. They are rich in themes like relationships, diversity, deception, ethics and everything in between. They have lots of lovely vocabulary, tongue-twistery sentences and images to spark imaginations. They work incredibly well as class readers and are sure to get heads scratching, minds wondering and bellies laughing. They are written by James Campbell (the 'Funny Life Of...' author and comedian), and are illustrated by Mark Weighton who is an artist who illustrates books but also makes big things out of recycled plastic waste (amongst other things).
